An elusive gunman terrorizes the residents of Forest Treàs, an idyllic suburb on the outskirts of DC. As authorities lose control of the situation and the community stands on the brink of a paranoid frenzy, residents take to new forms of digital vigilantism; desperately attempting to regain agency over their lives by finding the one who ripped it all away. Forest Treàs asks the questions: At what point does a tool become a weapon? When does information do more damage than a bullet?

This original commissioned work is funded in part through a DC Commission Budget Enhancement Grant, and will include a series of free, public community engagement events presented in partnership with local organizations exploring the themes of the piece.  Stay tuned -- more information to come!
